A week to remember

( My remaining Energy Kept pushing me to keep giving )

Last week was one of those weeks that I felt it will never ever end , I felt like I have been working forever ! I was torn a part between workshops day and evening time ;work and taking over mom's job at home .

I know I have been under such pressure before   , but this time was different for some reason hmm maybe its been like awhile since the last time I have been overloaded , anyways I truly felt that part of me was proud  for giving my best and part of me felt guilty for not finishing some of my duties at work on time but then  I was Like Hey! am a human after all right ?  before I realized that I kept trying to give my energy here and there I event felt that I might have a heart attack at anytime My friend Alia noticed that i turned to yellowish -,-"  Man what Was I trying to proof to myself 0,o

You know my friends sometimes those situations do get the best out of you but they  also tell  who you truly are you and what are you capable  of , and they  Teaches  you things you were not able to see or notice cause you were too busy doing other stuff .

We live in a world of " having it all " or being the "Perfect human "  while forgetting the fact that there are so many vulnerabilities   we might face and  its ok to express them or tell others how we truly feel and its ok to ask for help

My constant prayer is to know more myself , be honest to myself and never forget that I am human

Love you

My Experience with NO Snapchat

kind of awkward  post I know but I thought it would be nice to share my experience with you guys living for almost two weeks without snapchat

How did it start

I always felt like I have to reduce checking on snapchat , every morning I wake up am like ok where is my phone whats new on snapchat and that is totally unhealthy
So I felt I should stop using it for awhile , after reading Michelle Phan Book specially the social media or digital detox part am like hmmm now it is the right time to do it ,  the same day I finished reading the book I was like Okay this is it! lets delete this App and have little peaceful break

Addiction Symptoms

sounds serious symptoms huh ? well the first couple of days I would wake up and look for the snapchat app and then am like Woopss I deleted it , then I switched my snapchat addiction to Instagram "Funny how things can go " . right away I figured this is aint going to work so I kept leaving my phone the whole day after coming back from work and k…

Living my dream

When I was a little girl I remember telling my siblings that I have two personalities; the first is Noof as they know and the other one is the American personality and I named her "Suzie" how funny is that XDit has always been my dream to visit USA and experience living there .... Guess what

Today I am at United States pursing my masters at University of Pennsylvania
No Magic was required to make my dream came true all I needed was to "believe that it will happen in the right time " I know this might sound like ridiculous topic to talk about and what a goal !! to me it is not just to live the western life, it is to know my true self without any instructions, to appreciate everything that I have. Also to learn how to be independent. Most importantly I want to inspire others.

The journey to get here took lots of courage and determination I had to be sure that this is what I really wanted and I have to be clear why do I really want it. For me this has made a huge shi…

Can Creating a loving world a "possible" mission ?

When you think about it ....we are all human being "regardless" of labels "we" have created it

scattered thoughts.....

living for almost a year in a complete different culture , being exposed to this whole new experience  made me realize that we are all same ...

I had friends from different parts of the world , with different backgrounds , different religion . I was not sure if being around  so many people with variety of differences was a safe enough for me  to do , I admit that I had this misconception that I might not be "welcomed" cause I cover my head but I guess such fears were implanted in my head due to what was presented in media , though , I literally stopped watching/reading news. But all what is out there highlights

Fear
Anger
Differences
injustice

But in community I lived with , I have learned that we  all have a goal which is larger than us .... help others to flourish , we were always there for each other whenever we needed support , we ar…
